About the Author
Audrey Kuo is a genderqueer femme poet, writer, bread baker and organizer. Their art is part of their commitment to nurturing relationships and community among queer and trans people of color, especially femmes and sick and disabled queers. first drafts, second chances, their first chapbook, was self-published in July 2012, and their second book, Six Months of Aprils (Este) is currently in the prototype phase. Their short play “Every Story is A Love Story” will be staged in May 2020 as part of the Eastside Queer Stories festival. Audrey currently lives on unceded Tongva territory (in Los Angeles). They believe in the liberatory possibilities of gathering to share food & stories and are interested in reconnecting with Taiwanese and Chinese food histories and land.
